SOTENI – “All of us together”

SOTENI is growing globally, starting locally with support from the Greater Cincinnati community. With help from people like you, we can serve more people living with HIV/AIDs with emotional, social and educational support. With your support, we can equip more young people to make healthy decisions for themselves and their community and help more people access basic needs, like clean water. Together, we can extend the abundance of the resources of our community to some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

Here's a sneak peek at the program line up:

  • Kenyan filmmaker and storyteller, Albert Theuri, in cooperation with SOTENI, has created a dynamic portrait of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their personal journeys of strength, hope, and action toward creating a brighter future for their communities.

  • P&G's Global Disaster Relief Coordinator, Claudine Zukowski will discuss P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water Program and 10 years of partnership with SOTENI International to provide safe drinking water in rural Kenya to over 2,000 families every year.

  • Immaculate Wanyonyi, a Kenyan native, Immaculate was raised in the village of Mbakalo, one of the communities where SOTENI currently operates. She will share her story and illustrate the importance of collaboration and collective impact.

  • Judge Tyrone Yates will serve as the event's master of ceremonies. Judge Yates is a historian and civic leader in Ohio. He has had a long term interest in Africa, international relations and public health; particularly in eliminating communicable diseases such as malaria and HIV/AIDS.
