SOTENI International Volunteer Program

SOTENI International (SI) relies on student and professional volunteers to help achieve its mission and goals. Various volunteer positions are available at SI's offices in Cincinnati and Kenya.

Local Volunteers
In the Cincinnati office, assignments might include organizing special events, creating publicity materials, updating the website, writing proposals, assisting with fund-raising campaigns, refining donor lists, and completing clerical tasks. We have opportunities for everyone from high school students to senior citizens, and we welcome your ideas about how best to use your skills, energy, and resources.

We can arrange volunteer times to fit most schedules on a weekly or even a one-time basis. Contact the SOTENI International office for more information.

Volunteers are distinct from SOTENI interns. For details about our Kenya Internship program, please visit the SOTENI Bridge program page.

Professional Volunteers
Our Professional Volunteer program is designed for physicians, health-related specialists, and professionals, such as teachers, engineers, architects, accountants, and researchers, who have the experience, motivation, and willingness to participate in programs that address conditions in developing countries.

If you are a professional and would like to volunteer in the U.S., contact us to explore the best ways to use your skills and time with SOTENI International.
